Healthwatch Kent Annual Report 2019/20
Every year we are legally obliged to publish an annual report and this year is no different.

You can read a few examples of how we have helped people who have called our Helpline, the difference we have made to wheelchair services, and our work to ensure people who have had a stroke are involved in designing the new stroke services in Kent. There’s also some examples of the great work our wonderful volunteers have done.

The highlights
We'd had lots of great moments last year but here are a few key highlights. In 2019 - 2020 we;
- supported 1,456 people
- reached 57,498 people
- helped people to get a wheelchair quicker
- made it easier for partially sighted people to attend a hospital appointment
- ensured people who have had a stroke and their carers are involved in the design of the new stroke service

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to pick up the phone, drop us an email, or text or stopped to chat at an event or in the high street. All of you have shared your stories of using Kent's health & social care services. You told us what's good and what's not so good.
We've been able to use your stories to help improve services for other people.
