Urgent care in Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley is going to change. Get involved
A formal public consultation has been launched this month to decide the location of a new Urgent Treatment Centre in Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley area.
The clinical commissioning group which plans and commissions health services is formally consulting on two options for the Urgent Treatment Centre.
Option One will see the new Urgent Treatment Centre located at Gravesham Community Hospital
Option Two will locate the Urgent Treatment Centre at Darent Valley Hospital alongside the existing Emergency Department.
Urgent Treatment Centres are being developed across the country in a bid to make it easier for people to get urgent, but not life threatening, health treatment quicker and easier without needing to go to A&E.
