Sir Robert became a household name back on 2012 when he lead the independent review into the Mid Staffordshire Hospital scandal.
Sir Robert’s actions led to the development of Healthwatches across the country to ensure people had the opportunity to share their experiences of health and social care services and be heard by decision makers.
Sir Robert recently became Chair of Healthwatch England and we were very lucky to host him along with six other local Healthwatches in the South East.
