GP Walk In service at Northfleet closes today
Today the walk in GP clinic at Northfleet has closed. It’s not new news as the decision was announced some months ago, and is part of plans to create an Urgent Treatment Centre in the area following a public consultation earlier in the year.
During the planning for the new Urgent Treatment Centre, the CCG announced that it would not extend the contract held with Fleet Healthcare to provide the walk-in GP service at Northfleet when it expired on 30th June this year.
Springhead Health Surgery which is on the same site at the Walk In Centre and was previously White Horse Surgery, Gateway Surgery and The Forge Surgery remain open as usual.
